As the name suggests this is a list of the top 10 aquarium YouTube channels right now. We have tried to cover all bases here with some categories being more prominent than others. This list is in no particular order, let us know which channels you are already subscribed to and which ones you are going to once you have finished reading this article. Any channels that you visit make sure you let them know you came from The Aquatic Hub.....

Aquarium Coop- Cory McElroy the owner of the store Aquarium Coop also runs this amazing youtube channel. Recently Cory passed 50,000 subscribers, which is an amazing achievement. at the time of writing this the Aquarium Coop YouTube channel is currently at 59,115 subscribers. If you want to know about freshwater aquarium fish, plants, food, substrate and more then this channel covers it all! Cory is also the most active member on the list posting a video at least every other day.

Dustins Fishtanks- One of the most enthusiastic video creators you will ever watch. There is no video you will watch on this channel and be bored. Dustin has a crazy way of enticing you in and making you want to watch video after video. This is another channel that tries to focus on providing knowledge to the freshwater community. Dustin's main focus is aquarium plants and aquascaping but you will also find lots of great videos about hundreds of different fish species. Dustin is an "old boy" on YouTube and has been going around 5 years, with 95,377 subscribers, he has been a driving force of the aquarium YouTube scene.

George Farmer- UK Aquascaper and friend of The Aquatic Hub, George creates stunning aquascapes, as well as providing information about plants, fish, shrimp and even substrate and hardscape. If you want to crate a beautiful aquascape and learn all about setting up and maintaining show quality aquascapes, this is the channel for you. George has been posting videos for a few years now, but I spoke with George recently who said he is going to be posting a lot more and also utilising YoTube's Live video feature as well. With 8,006 subscribers and counting, and loads more videos in the bag, why would you not want to subscribe to this channel?

Aarons Aquarium- Another UK based aquarium channel Mike from Aarons Aquarium makes up one third of the exciting new company My Aquarium Box. This channel started out as freshwater but quickly moved to saltwater, something Mike always wanted to do. This channel has a lot to offer in terms of product reviews, shop tours, how to videos, live videos and weekly aquarium updates. One thing I enjoy about this channel is following along with the updates and seeing the tank progressing each week. Mike has 15,705 subscribers and was close to quitting YoTube at the start of this month, due to some negativity about his new venture MAB. It would be awesome if you guys could head over to his channel and say hi and show this hardworking passionate aquarium keeper some love.

King of DIY- does this channel really need any words...... with 402,500 subscribers it is officially the largest aquarium channel on the internet to date. Joey has recently started building an aquarium gallery, head over to his channel to see it and follow the updates. This channel covers everything from DIY, Shop tours, event tours and vlogs. This really is an all in one aquarium channel that needs no description, from freshwater to saltwater Joey has it all.

Rachel O'leary- The Queen of all things nano. This channel is dedicated to small fish, invertebrates and aquascapes. You will find plant information videos, fish information videos, breeding information, weekly updates and more. If you have a small tank at home or are interested in starting a nano tank then this is the place to go. Rachel has 34,532 subscribers and as well as running a YouTube channel Rachel also imports, breeds and sells fish, inverts, plants and hard scape selling them all from her Fish Room.

Steenfontt Aquatics- Or Big Steen as Cory from Aquarium coop like to call him is relatively new to the YouTube scene and his channel has blown up over the last few months. This channel is another freshwater channel, providing information, shop tours and vlogs of his fish room and Aquarium Coop. Big Steen is also another Live stream specialist interviewing other Aquarium YouTubers and talking about some really interesting topics. Steenfott Aquatics has 10,302 subscribers and is another regular poster, uploading a few videos a week as well as staring in a lot of Aquarium Coop videos.

Aquapros- Recently changed the name from DIY Aquapros to just Aquapros this channel is packed with useful information. Mike, the owner of this channel is a biologist so there is a lot of great content from how to make your own liquid plant fertiliser to some really great aquascaping and plant information videos as well. with 60,469 subscribers and probably most well known for the "avatar" aquascape, you will not be disappointed with this channel.

Flip Aquatics- King of the Shrimp. Rob recently changed the channel name from Lup Diesel to Flip Aquatics, to tie in with his business that is run along side the YouTube channel. If you are into shrimp you are probably already subscribed, if you are not into shrimp then watch some videos from this guy and you will be. What is really interesting about this channel is that Rob is looking to build a fish room and sell USA bred Shrimp ONLY. Rob has started by importing a few species and has set up breeding colonies around these species to help promote the shrimp hobby in the US. This channel is awesome and Rob is one of the most genuine guys on the internet.

Reef builders- This channel is dedicated to the saltwater hobby. Yo will find everything from news articles, to events, to shop tours, to information about fish and corals. There are a lot of unique aquarium related products that have been showcased for the first time on this channel. Recently, Jake visited Reefapolooza and shot some awesome videos there, some of the corals on show were stunning! This channel has just over 16,000 subscribes, if you are into saltwater aquariums then this channel should be a frequent stop for all your saltwater video needs.

Thanks for reading, be sure to drop a comment on which channel you love, I know there are a few other big channels that I have not put on this list, however Personally I think there is a great mix of personalities, specialisms and frequent posting within this list.
